‘Don’t diminish my point!’ Tempers explode as Geraldo and Kilmeade square off over temporary travel ban

Geraldo Rivera Brian KilmeadeSparks were flying when Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera squared off with “Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade over President Donald Trump’s temporary travel ban.

Rivera appeared on the show Friday to discuss the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision to uphold the temporary restraining order on the ban when tempers flared.

Geraldo argued that the president ought to rewrite the order and name specific threats but Kilmeade had another take.

“All (the president) asked for is a pause while they re-evalute a vetting system that let’s the kid in and keeps the terrorists out,” Kilmeade said before the conversation devolved into a shouting match.

“I understand that you want to make a partisan point here..” Geraldo charged before Kilmeade loudly interrupted him.

“No, no, don’t diminish my point,” he said as Rivera attempted to talk over him. “No, no, no, no, no, you cannot mischaracterize what I’m saying because Senator Schumer said the same thing. That you have to vet these people!.”

Geraldo insisted that Kilmeade was making a political point.

“What political point?” Kilmeade asked.

“(President Trump) has this thing about not having people die by a terrorist attack, like if you are on 23rd or 29th street,” he said.

Watch the epic fight.
