In a follow-up to previous remarks, actor Robert De Niro let it be know that he still wants to punch now-President Donald Trump in the face.
Proving you can be a great actor and a Hollywood moonbat, De Niro participated in a hard-hitting political ad against Trump back in October.
“Trump is so blatantly stupid,” DeNiro stated on camera. “He’s a punk. He’s a dog. […] He talks how he’d like to punch people in the face? Well, I’d like to punch him in the face.”
The actor’s violent rhetoric didn’t preclude him from being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from former President Barack Obama at the White House a month later.
Appearing on ABC’s “The View” on Friday, De Niro tried to justify his threat of violence.
“I said that because he said that about somebody, that he would like to punch them in the face,” he said. “How dare he say that to the crowd… How dare he say the things he does?”

And he was pretty clear that he’d still like to punch Trump in the face.
“Of course I want to punch him in the face,” De Niro said, as co-host Joyless Behar cheered him on.
He dismissed his angry verbiage as a “symbolic thing,” before going on to suggest that despite all the hand-wringing on the left, it’s OK to bully people after all.
“It’s not good to feel that way,” De Niro said. “It’s not good to start that stuff up, but at the same time sometimes when people are bullies like that, that’s what you have to do to shut them up. Bully them back.”
