While liberals are in a full meltdown over President Donald Trump‘s executive order taken to keep the country safe, nearly half of American voters support the action.
By a margin of 48 percent to 42 percent, a new Quinnipiac poll says voters support “suspending immigration from terror prone regions, even if it means turning away refugees,” according to Fox News.

Trump’s executive order, designed to keep “radical Islamic terrorists” from entering the U.S., temporarily halts refugee admissions for 120 days to allow the vetting process to be improved. It also bars refugees from war-torn Syria and temporarily suspends immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Quinnipiac poll showed that more than half of voters would support requiring immigrants from Muslim-majority nations to register when coming to American.
Fifty-three percent agreed to the idea, with 41 percent opposing, Fox News reported.
The policies are consistent with what Trump said throughout his campaign. Then-candidate Trump often spoke about plans to establish a registry for Muslims. He said a year ago he wanted a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”
