Reality of Trump presidency sets in at Gitmo this weekend: ‘Things have changed’

On Saturday, inside the headquarters of US Navy base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a sailor removed  former President Barrack Obama’s picture and replaced it with President Donald J. Trumps photo.

One person tweeted a warning to terrorists letting them know we have a new president and things are going to be different now.

President Trump has previously vowed to keep the U.S. military prison open.

“This morning, I watched President Obama talking about Gitmo, right, Guantanamo Bay, which by the way, we are keeping open… and we’re gonna load it up with some bad dudes, believe me, we’re gonna load it up.”

A few lawmakers stood up to Obama when in his last days of office he asked Congress to consider shutting down the facility. Senator Tim Scott made his opposition known loud and clear, according to Twitchy.
