Amid accusations of plagiarism, Monica Crowley announced Monday she will not be joining the Trump White House.
“After much reflection I have decided to remain in New York to pursue other opportunities and will not be taking a position in the incoming administration,” the former Fox News analyst said in a statement, according to The Washington Times.

“I greatly appreciate being asked to be part of President-elect Trump’s team and I will continue to enthusiastically support him and his agenda for American renewal,” she added.
A CNN K File investigation claimed that Crowley plagiarized more than 50 sections of her 2012 book “What The (Bleep) Just Happened.”
Trump’s team was willing to stand by Crowley, dismissing the claim as “a politically motivated attack,” but it appears she did want to be a distraction.
Crowley was to be a communications specialist for National Security Adviser Michael T. Flynn, who issued a statement of his own about her decision to forego the role.
“The NSC will miss the opportunity to have Monica Crowley as part of our team,” Gen. Flynn said in a statement. “We wish her all the best in her future.”
