It’s China’s fault!
Talk about an egregious oversight. A California shoe company, Conal International Trading, is profusely apologizing after complaints that its Polar Fox boots leaves what appears to be a Swastika in its wake.
Saying the troubling image the boot’s tread leaves behind is not an intentional design, the company blamed the misstep on “a mistake made by our manufacturers in China,” according to Yahoo News.

“We were informed recently the company imported boots that has an offensive symbol designed on them,” Conal International said in a statement. “We are extremely sorry for the frustration this has caused our customers and the public.”
The company said they have recalled the boots and discontinued them, before apologizing again: “We would like to issue our sincerest apologies to our customers and to anyone who was offended by the Swastika imprint that the boots left behind.”
The anticipated reaction on social media included quips like “Heily recommended,” and “they really put me in mein kampfort zone.”
