Nicole Kidman thrown to the wolves for saying it might be time to give Trump a chance

She had to know it was coming.

Liberals now think celebrities ought to stay out of talking politics … but only if they don’t walk the Hollywood leftist line.

Their hypocrisy was on full display after Australian born actress Nicole Kidman defended President-elect Donald Trump and said it was time to give him a chance.

“He is now elected and we as a country need to support whoever is president because that’s what the country’s based on,” Kidman, who is a citizen of America, told BBC.

“However that happened … He’s there … And, let’s go,” she added.

Notice it wasn’t an endorsement of Trump. Kidman merely acted like an adult and said, in essence, its time to stop the tantrums.

At a time when other Hollywood leftists are begging Congress to “vigorously oppose” the president-elect, asking President Obama to call for martial law, and giving award show speeches bashing the president, liberals now think celebrities ought not talk politics unless it’s vehemently anti-Trump.

In other words, for sticking up for America, she’s paying a price:
