Trump slams Schwarzenegger over sorry ‘Celeb Apprentice’ ratings and gets a surprising response

President-elect Donald Trump is not one to let slip an opportunity to tout his many accomplishments in life.

…or call out those who have failed to stand with him.

Taking to social media, Trump pulled off both when he ripped Arnold Schwarzenegger, his replacement on “Celebrity Apprentice,” for getting lower ratings than when he was on the show.

But Schwarzenegger, who endorsed Ohio Gov. John Kasich over Trump in the GOP primary, wasn’t about to go mano a mano with the soon-to-be president, opting to take the high road in his response instead of going Terminator on Trump:

He also posted a video clip of himself reading a quote from Abraham Lincoln’s inaugural address:

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battle-field, and patriot grave, to every living heart and hearth-stone, all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of our Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.”
