When gun hysteria reaches the point where uniformed officers can’t even carry their standard-issue weapons inside certain businesses, can it then be officially considered gun hysteria?
Thankfully, a Washington Cheesecake factory has issued an apology after asking six uniformed correctional officers to leave the restaurant because they were carrying their service weapons.

After being refused service for carrying her weapon into the Tacoma-area restaurant, Washington State Corrections Officer Miriam Nichols posted this message to The Cheesecake Factory Facebook page:
Cheesecake Factory Corporate Headquarters then issued an apology, saying there was a “miscommunication” of the policy in the restaurant:
“Our policy is to allow uniformed and identified law enforcement officials to possess their service weapons on our premises. To the extent that there was a miscommunication of our policy, we sincerely apologize,” the statement read.
The company also put the statement up in reply to Nichols’ Facebook post.
Liberal indoctrination notwithstanding, companies really shouldn’t be so afraid of open-carry of any sort. After all, if the good guys have weapons the bad guys are much more likely to stay away!
