So overconfident that Hillary would win, look who got stuck with 200 hotel rooms for inauguration

Hillary Clinton and her team weren’t the only people who were certain that she would win the presidency.

Twenty Black Lives Matter dudes jumped by 4 Trump supporters or another ‘hate crime’ hoax? You decide . . .

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo apparently was so convinced that her coronation was a done deal that he booked 200 rooms in D.C. for her inauguration, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

“A little overconfident,” one Republican quipped.

Cuomo’s overzealousness was one Republican’s gain, according to Page Six.

The governor had one of his staffers call New York’s Republican Party Chairman Ed Cox and offer him a block of the rooms at DC’s Loews Madison.

Electors only first shots; massive firepower gunning for Trump’s impeachment already, Cavuto warns

“The best part is Cuomo booked so early, he locked in a really low rate,” a source told Page Six and added that Cox was grateful for it. “Rooms in DC are a hot commodity right now.”

Social media was quick with the sarcasm.

Some had ideas of how Cuomo and fellow Democrats could still use the rooms.
