Reporter’s face-off with Tucker leads to a Twitter war, that leads to seizures, that lead to lawsuits . . .

A day after his unhinged battle with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald went on a short-lived, self-imposed hiatus from Twitter.

Hours after his Thursday clash with Carlson, Eichenwald, who already appeared unstable following the interview, launched into a rambling tweetstorm full of Donald Trump hatred.

He later deleted the majority of the tweets but Trump supporters had already started firing back on the angry reporter.

One Twitter user, in particular, launched an attack that caused Eichenwald to send himself into a brief social media exile.

A person using the Twitter handle @jew_goldstein sent Eichenwald a tweet with flashing lights that said its intent was to cause a seizure.

According to someone claiming to be Eichenwald’s wife, the tweet was successful and the reporter did suffer a seizure.

The next day he returned to Twitter … to say he was going away.

That hiatus lasted about another day.

On Saturday he tweeted that he was back and heading to friendlier territory on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” program.

Eichenwald is back on Twitter, but the day is still young.
