The United States is open for business.
After eight years of arduous and burdensome labor and environmental regulations imposed by the Obama administration, the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) sees a Trump presidency as a much-needed breath of fresh air.

NAM’s report stated: “Trump has asserted that regulatory reform is a ‘cornerstone of the Trump Administration’ and that his team will be ‘committed to regulatory reform that will produce sensible regulations that allow America to be great. This is music to manufacturers’ ears,” Politico reported on Monday.
The group contends that federal regulatory spending has tripled since 1980 to over $50 billion in 2015 alone, and that’s not even including the incredible economic costs borne by American businesses and individuals. For example, the Environmental Protection Agency’s ozone standards, labeled the “most expensive regulation” ever by NAM, will cost businesses over $1 trillion just to comply.
And that’s not the only Obama-imposed rule. NAM has singled-out 637 others, or one major rule ever four and a half days.
“Regulators must be held accountable with improved oversight to improve the quality of the regulations they issue,” NAM insisted.
