‘Real Housewives’ star’s ‘disgusting, vile’ nativity photo offends millions – it’s okay, only the Christians

In today’s culture of politically correct hypersensitivity, it seems there is still one religion that society has deemed appropriate to mock.

On Friday, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville posted, and then removed, a particularly insulting and offensive picture on social media that showed her in a nativity scene squatting over a statue of the baby Jesus as if she had given birth.

“Never forget the reason for the season #sweetchildomine #gunsnroses #sandiego #oldtown,” Glanville, 44, wrote in the caption.

Glanville removed the photo from her Instagram after a ton of backlash but her “apology” on Twitter left a lot to be desired, and fans let her have it again.

A “Hipster Nativity Set,” complete with the three wise men” on Segways and Joseph taking a selfie with Jesus and Mary, kicked off the 2016 season, but this isn’t the first year the mocking has been so open.

Last year Texas Gov. Greg Abbott demanded a faux nativity scene from the Freedom From Religion Foundation be removed from the state capital.

In 2013 a California church replaced the baby Jesus in the scene with a bloodied Trayvon Martin.
