Obama changes course, says he’s not going to shut-up after leaving office, in spite of tradition

The Obama army is getting ready to take on President-elect Donald Trump and his administration and the current president sent the signal that he is ready to lead.

President Obama gave hints to his supporters that he is not planning to step out of the political arena after his term is done as he originally planned because his original plan “assumed that his presidential legacy would be protected and nurtured by Mrs. Clinton in the Oval Office,” according to a New York Times report.

He expressed that sentiment to Democrat backers in a recent speech where he said they were “going to see me early next year, and we’re going to be in a position where we can start cooking up all kinds of great stuff to do.”

He said something similar during a press conference in Peru on Sunday.

“As an American citizen who cares deeply about our country, if there are issues that have less to do with the specifics of some legislative proposal or battle or go to core questions about our values and ideals, and if I think that it’s necessary or helpful for me to defend those ideals, I’ll examine it when it comes,” he said.

If he does, it would break a long-standing tradition of ex-presidents being mum on their successors, but not many ex-presidents have had the ego of President Obama.

And his supporters are more than ready to fight along with him.

Harry Reid’s rule change comes back to bite Dems; another bitter pill

While the Democrats are in desperate need of a new leader and a new vision to take them into the 2018 midterm elections and the 2020 presidential elections, it appears they are going to get the same vision that has caused them to have no power in any branch of government, and they couldn’t be happier about it.

Because for them Obama is much more than a politician, he is their god.

Liz Jaff, who backed Obama’s 2008 White House run, told Politico that election night was like a “nightmare” for her before she said something absolutely nutty.

“He’s our Jesus Christ. We’re crazy,” she said. “It’s 10 years later, and we’re still obsessed.”

And they wonder why they can’t win.
