The University of Michigan (UM) was emblematic of the chaos on many university campuses Wednesday, as a person (or people) irate over the presidential election spray-painted “Kill ‘Em All” and “F**k America” onto a large public rock on campus.
The new paint job on The Rock, as it is fittingly called, was publicized on Twitter around 3 p.m. CST. The paint showed a donkey and elephant, representing the Democratic and Republican parties, along with the blunt phrases “Kill ‘Em All” and “F**k America.”

Around mid-afternoon, a group of UM students assembled at The Rock and repainted it to read “Love ‘Em All” instead.
UM’s campus saw substantial protests, with dozens of students gathering to chant “Pussy grabs back” and “Not my president,” among other things.
