A Halloween party turned truly horrific when a man dressed as Freddy Krueger shot five people at a San Antonio party in the early Sunday morning hours.
The man opened fire on the party-goers around 5 a.m., hitting at least four men and wounding at least one other woman, San Antonio Police told the San Antonio Express-News.
Several men showed up to the party at Aspen Meadow in Northwest San Antonio, Texas, uninvited and started a fight. As the altercation heated up, some at the party tried to remove the troublemakers when a suspect dressed as Krueger — the terrifying villain from the movie “A Nightmare on Elm Street” — pulled a gun and started shooting, according to witnesses.

The woman who was shot escaped the party and fled the scene. Police said she made it to a hospital, but only after getting in a car wreck. She is being treated for her injuries.
Police are still searching for the suspects, and did not immediately return The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
