Disgraced former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner may have performed the best public service of his long, sad career by helping reopen the FBI investigation of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
And Donald Trump took the time Sunday at a rally in Las Vegas to thank Weiner for that.
“We never thought we were going to say thank you to Anthony Weiner,” the GOP nominee told the sizable crowd.
The FBI discovered the new emails on Weiner’s laptop during a separate FBI investigation of his alleged sexting relationship with an underage girl.
