Newly released video shows the frightening moment a man went on a rampage with a machete in a New Orleans airport in 2015.
The video shows the man, Richard White, 60, spraying passersby with wasp spray before going after TSA agents with the machete, on March 20, 2015.
White was ultimately shot in the thigh by Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Lt. Heather Sylve and eventually died from his injuries after he refused medical treatment because of his religion, reportedly as a Jehovah’s Witness, The Advocate reported at the time.
White was carrying six homemade explosives at the time of the attack.
Investigators uncovered no motive but his sister, Barbara Suggs, said White was struggling with depression.
