Regardless of how you feel about Donald Trump’s recent scandals, the media spotlight on them is meant to elicit just that – feelings. Pay no attention to the issues and especially to the man (or woman) behind the curtain, they say. Instead, let’s point and shriek at Trump because of the latest Apprentice contestant he’s supposed to have groped a decade ago.
The fact is, besides the Supreme Court (which alone should be reason enough for all sane conservatives to not let wild horses keep them away from voting Trump), there are really just three key issues in this election, and Trump nails every single one.
Immigration

Make no mistake – there’s a reason why liberals and elitists are hellbent on throwing open our borders to every Third World reject who takes a notion to come here, and it’s not because they want America to be a prosperous, happy place. In fact, quite the opposite, since their motives involve only the seizure and iron grip of power.
Simply put, because the vast majority of post 1965 immigrants come from places with cultures that don’t value free markets, liberty, and transparent, Constitutional government the way our nation’s founders did, these immigrants tend to vote leftist in overwhelming numbers. And those who advocate for more immigration, legal or otherwise, are fully aware of this.
Despite those who insist otherwise while working tirelessly for their “permanent Democratic majority,” it’s entirely possible to respect the many wonderful, legal, liberty-loving Hispanics and Muslims in America while still understanding the fact that filling a country with Third Worlders will eventually result in a Third World country.
Trade

What’s happened since the passage of NAFTA and the rise of “free trade” has been a death-blow to America’s manufacturing base. Somehow we’ve gone from a country entirely financed on tariffs (instead of income taxes and the Federal Reserve’s endless money supply), to the near abolishment of trade restrictions, resulting in countless manufacturers shutting down their U.S. plants in favor of places where they needn’t worry about labor laws, environmental regulations, and uppity workers who dare to want a living wage.
The bottom line? Trade is a good thing, but it’s got to be fair, and Donald Trump is the first major party candidate in a generation to recognize and give voice to the displaced, downtrodden American worker victimized by globalization.
War with Russia

What has become the mainstream position on this is mind-boggling. For all his talk of “evil empires,” President Reagan had no intention of provoking one of the world’s strongest nuclear powers into any sort of armed conflict. And yet, to hear Hillary Clinton talk about the issue one would think we’re still in the middle of the cold war and Vladimir Putin is somehow Hitler and Stalin’s love child, except with a penchant for hacking American Gmail accounts.
There is absolutely no evidence to think Clinton’s call for “regime change” in Syria will fare any better than the disasters in Iraq and Libya, but oddly enough people still take her seriously. In reality, Russia is busy effectively fighting ISIS while our leaders sit on our hands and bloviate about no-fly zones and red lines.
Exactly how is this Russia-baiting supposed to end? For all her problems, Green Party candidate Jill Stein is prescient enough to recognize a warmongering, globalist shill when she sees one.
Under Hillary Clinton, we could very quickly slide into nuclear war with her declared policy in Syria. I call for a #PeaceOffensive.

The truth is, getting this one right could mean the difference between peace or a devastating war neither side can possibly win.
