Typical! Chicago libs and Amazon crack down on gun violence by banning bubblegum pink Cowgirl props

Chicago is finally taking steps to slow the murder rate of the besieged city by banning … bubblegum pink toy guns.

Residents of the city who attempt to purchase a “Cowgirl Playset” on Amazon.com were greeted by a message that stated “This item cannot be shipped to your selected location.”

The law upon which the sales of the set are denied is likely §4-144-190 of the Chicago Municipal Code, the Daily Caller reported.

The ordinance, titled “Replica firearms and pellet guns” bans the possession and transfer of “any device, object or facsimile made of plastic, wood, metal or any other material, that a person could reasonably perceive as an actual firearm but that is incapable of being fired or discharged.” The strict law specifically encompasses lighters, camera and mobile phone cases — but makes an exception for certain antique firearm replicas (and for paint pellet guns at paintball parks).

The punishment for violating the law is a $500 fine and as much as six months in jail.

And fear not fair citizens of the Windy City, it is not only the scourge of pearl pink toy guns that are being kept off of your streets as the murder rate continues to rise.

Many other nefarious weapons of mass hysteria are being denied to children living within the confines of President Obama’s old stomping grounds.

Amazon.com is also barring the sale of pop guns and Army and police playsets.

Because in a city where 40 people can be shot in a weekend, toy guns are the blatant issue that needed to be tackled.

Social media lashed out at the absurdity.
