‘Dirty mouth? Clean it up!’ Tic Tac mint-makers sadly reject Donald Trump; perhaps Orbit will have his back

In a sure sign that the 2016 election train has pulled into Crazyville, Tic Tac has now taken a position on the video capturing GOP nominee Donald Trump saying lewd things about women.

…and in doing so, perhaps lends credence to the anti-political correctness that makes Trump so popular.

In the bombshell video released by the Washington Post, Trump is engaged in “locker room banter” with former Access Hollywood anchor Billy Bush about being attracted to beautiful women when approached by actress Arianne Zucker, who was Trump’s escort on the set of “Day of Our Lives.”

“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says.

And that was enough to compel the manufacturer of the mints to respond on social media, denouncing the candidate’s behavior:

While there’s nothing humorous about the topic of mistreating women, social media users were highly amused at Tic Tac feeling the need to distance itself from Trump.

Perhaps the makers of Orbit gum would jump at the endorsement. Remember these hilarious commercials with the British beauty and tag line, “Dirty mouth? Clean it up with Orbit.”
