Rosie O’Donnell took to Twitter late Wednesday to chronicle a chance meeting the comedian apparently had earlier in the day with Ivanka Trump, the daughter of long-time nemesis Donald Trump.
…a face-to-face encounter that did not end in a knock-down, drag out fight.
To the contrary, the meeting was quite amicable, according to Rosie, as she thanked the daughter of the man she notoriously despises … oh, to be a fly on the wall during THAT little chat!
@IvankaTrump in a city of 8 million – we meet face 2 face – i thank u 4 listening – mother 2 mother – on this new years week – my best 2 u

O’Donnell later clarified on Twitter that the meeting with Ivanka took was at the Manhattan hotspot Nobu Fifty Seven.

But it’s unlikely her civilized response Wednesday is a sign that O’Donnell’s heart has warmed toward the GOP nominee. In fact, a recent tweet suggests the animosity between them is as bitter as ever. She called Trump an “orange anus” in a tweet that included a 2006 video clip that launched their infamous feud:
