Gov. Mike Pence took the Clinton Foundation apart during the VP debate Tuesday night.
The Republican vice presidential nominee seized the opportunity when debate moderator Elaine Quijano veered into foreign policy and asked about the handling of North Korea by each potential administration.
Pence explained why Clinton’s own financial interests may prevent her from being tough on any foreign government.
“While she was secretary of state, the foundation accepted tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and foreign donors,” Pence said. “Foreign donors, and certainly foreign governments, cannot participate in the American political process. They cannot make financial contributions, but the Clintons figured out a way to create a foundation where foreign governments and foreign donors can donate millions of dollars.”
It was a spanking.
