Love or hate him, there is no denying Donald Trump is a ratings juggernaut.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” found that out this week when it welcomed Trump for an interview.
The episode got a 2.6 ratings share, its highest since President Obama appeared on the program in June, according to an NBC official, the Daily Caller reported.
“It was the highest rating the show has had on a Thursday since Obama went on in early June — with the exception of last Thursday, which was boosted by an NFL game and tied with a 2.6 Nielsen rating,” the official said.
The ratings were high even though the episode received pushback from liberals who said the comedian gave Trump softball questions.
Hillary Clinton taped an episode on Friday set to air this coming Monday.
It will be interesting to see where the ratings for that episode land in comparison to Trump’s.
