Ann Coulter sounds pretty committed: ‘I worship’ Trump, ‘I would die for him’

Ann Coulter certainly knows how to tweak leftists.

In an interview with Politico’s Glenn Thrush during his “Off Message” show this week Coulter said she worships Donald Trump and “would die for him.”

“I worship him like the North Koreans worship the ‘Dear Leader’ — yes, I would die for him,” she said.

Perhaps that’s because she sees some herself in the Republican presidential nominee.

“I didn’t get the gene that makes me care about what other people think,” she said. “I’m much like Trump that way. I don’t really care. They’re just words.”

Coulter’s main issue has been immigration. In the interview she said she kept emailing former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski in the beginning of the campaign to keep reminding him to not let the candidate back down on immigration.

“Then he came out for the Muslim ban on my birthday, Dec. 8, my best birthday gift ever. I finally emailed Corey and said, ‘OK, I think he’s not backing down.’” she said.
