‘Where’s the f***ing check?’: Here’s how liberal ingrates responded to Trump’s help in Louisiana

In the absence of any leadership coming from the White House, Donald Trump made a sincere effort Friday to help Louisiana residents struggling to deal with the results of catastrophic flooding… to the chagrin of at least one ungrateful liberal.

The GOP nominee’s efforts included visiting the flood damaged area to help “shine a spotlight” on the devastation and to help pass out supplies — the candidate also made a $100,000 donation to the local Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, according to the Trump campaign.

And he did it without turning his assistance into a campaign event.

But that wasn’t enough for one liberal Baton Rouge resident who took to social media to ask, “Where is the f**king check?”

In a Facebook rant that was posted under the name Neva Butkus, President Obama is defended for his indifference to the plight of flood victims while Trump is disparaged for going to the state in pursuit of a “photo-op.”

Butkus identifies herself on Facebook as the “Senior Institutional Giving Manager” at City Year, a Baton Rouge organization that assists students in high-poverty communities get back on track to high school graduation.

But her liberal politics shine through.

“Our Governor literally told him (as this article shows) that Trump is welcome in our state but if he’s coming he better be volunteering or writing a sizable check to assist with recovery,” Butkus wrote. “A 60 second video of him unloading play-doh from a truck does not count.”

And then any pretense at fairness goes out the window.

“Trump. Seriously. Where is the check. Like where is the fucking check,” Butkus demanded.

“My people are drowning. My co-workers and family and friends have lost everything,” she continued. “My friends and co-workers that haven’t lost everything are taking off work (my boyfriend is taking PTO) to clean out people’s homes and rip out sheet rock and carpet. Give us money or GTFO.”

The unappreciative Butkus goes on to talk about how Louisiana is an “incredible place” because people help one another out before instructing Trump that “you do not belong here.”

A quick scan of social media showed Butkus has a few friends on the left who shared her sentiments.
