It’s only the second day of the Olympics Games in Brazil and already two television networks have been accused of sexism.
During the Opening Ceremony on Friday, Canadians lost their collective minds when a broadcaster for the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. referred to Gisele Bündchen as “Mrs. Tom Brady”.
On Saturday, NBC came under fire with similar criticism when it released a statement to explain why it had the Opening Ceremony on tape delay.

OK, that one sounds a lot more sexist than the “Mrs. Tom Brady” thing.
But a recent Gallup poll noted that there is some accuracy in NBC’s decision making, according to Business Insider.
In 2012, 63 percent of women surveyed said they had a “fair amount” or “great deal” of interest in the Olympic Games in London.
This year, a paltry 47 percent of the women polled for the Rio Olympics expressed the same sentiment.
Still, social media was outraged over the reasoning.
