Here’s a ‘shock’ presidential poll you definitely won’t hear the mainstream media touting

Republican Donald Trump is making huge headway into a voting bloc normally solidly Democrat.

Trump garnered support from 32 percent of black North Carolina voters the latest poll of likely voters conducted for the Civitas Institute. Clinton still leads among likely black voters, with 64 percent.

Support of the GOP nominee by black voters is the highest of any Republican presidential candidate in the past three decades, when former President Gerald Ford polled at 17 percent in 1976.

Among all likely voters polled, Trump leads with 46 percent. Clinton followed with 42 percent of those surveyed. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, a former New Mexico governor, drew support from 6 percent. Just 7 percent said they were undecided.

“Trump personifies success. What African-Americans want is a piece of the pie, they want a part of the American Dream. They don’t want to be employees, they want to be employers,” Roger Stone told The Daily Caller in an earlier interview.

SurveyUSA conducted the poll for Civitas between Sunday and Tuesday. Four hundred likely general election voters were interviewed. The poll was conducted between Sunday and Tuesday. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

The Democrats who’ve been taking the black vote for granted for decades won’t like this news.
