A Miami-Dade police officer was grateful for his body camera when a half-undressed woman tried to bribe him after being pulled over for a traffic stop.
When the officer approached the woman, Margaret Garcia, on June 19 and asked for her license and registration she tried to hand him a pile of cash, the Miami Herald reported.
“Ma’am, that’s money,” the officer told her
“I know,” Garcia, who was listed as “entertainer” in the police report, according to NBC Miami, said with a sigh. “You want to check my registration? I’m going home.”
But she wasn’t.
A female officer arrived to pat the woman down and adjusted her dress to cover her chest.
“I don’t even know, bro. I’ve never come across that much spilled weed. It was just everywhere,” the arresting officer said to another officer next to him.
“What?” the belligerent Garcia yelled. “I smoke weed. What? What? I don’t give a f**k.”
When the officer arrived with the woman to the police station to book her, he said that she tried to bribe him and added that she had about $2,000 on her.
Garcia shouted that he needed to recount the money.
“I’ve never been so glad for these cameras in my life,” the officer said before the video stopped.
Garcia was charged with speeding, bribery and marijuana possession.
