Terrifying surveillance footage has surfaced of the moment a police officer shot a suicide bomber who then blew himself up during Tuesday’s attack at an Istanbul airport.
The officer approached the terrorist after shooting him, but apparently noticed he was still alive and about to detonate his device — the officer runs off and moments later an explosion is seen.
The attack has so far claimed the lives of 41 people and Turkish Prime Miniser Binali Yildirim told the media that all signs point to the Islamic State as the perpetrator of the attack.
