A white former police officer who was fired for bringing an unruly black, female, teenager to the ground had his name cleared Thursday when a grand jury opted not to indict him.
The decision ends a year-long drama for Eric Casebolt that started last June when he responded to a call about unruly teenagers at a McKinney, Texas pool party.
On Thursday the grand jury decided there was not enough evidence to indict Casebolt on criminal charges, CBS reported.
Unfortunately the rush to judgement has already cost the former officer his career.
