The Florida State Attorney’s Office announced Friday that an assistant state attorney was suspended for a scathing Facebook post denouncing Orlando in the aftermath of the terror attack by a radicalized Muslim gunman that claimed 49 lives.

Assistant State Attorney Kenneth Lewis posted a comment on his Facebook page immediately following the worst mass shooting in U.S. history calling Orlando “a melting pot of 3rd world miscreants and ghetto thugs.”

Lewis also made a sarcastic remark about not publishing the name of “the terrorist” to avoid offending anyone.

His post in full, from WESH-TV:

“Downtown Orlando has no bottom. The entire city should be leveled. It is void of a single redeeming quality. It is a melting pot of 3rd world miscreants and ghetto thugs. It is void of culture. If you live down there you do it at your own risk and at your own peril.

“If you go down there after dark there is seriously something wrong with you. Disney does everything in its power to shield visitors of Disney from its northern blight. That doesn’t change reality. Disney may be the happiest place on earth but Orlando is a national embarrassment. If this is an act of domestic terrorist it is so important that we don’t publish the religion, name, or motive of the terrorist as not to offend anyone.”

According to Angela Starke, the public information officer for the State Attorney’s Office, Ninth Judicial Circuit, Lewis was suspended for violating the office’s social media policy.

Violation of the policy can result in discipline up to and including termination, the NBC affiliate reported.

Turns out, this is not the first time Lewis has gotten himself into trouble on Facebook.

The assistant prosecutor was “temporarily reassigned”  for a controversial Mother’s Day post in 2014, according to WESH-TV.

“Happy mothers day to all the crack hoes out there. It’s never too late to tie your tubes, clean up your life and make difference to someone out there that deserves a better mother,” Lewis wrote at the time.
