Bloody Orlando nightclub massacre evidence leaning toward Islamic terrorism, FBI reports

The shooting in an Orlando, Florida gay nightclub on Sunday is being investigated as an “act of terrorism.”

There is an early suggestion that the shooter might have ties to radical Islam, according to multiple network reports, including CNN.

“We do have suggestions that the individual may have leanings towards that particular ideology, FBI Assistant Special Agent In Charge, Ronald Hopper, told reporters.

Orlando Police Chief John Mina confirmed that approximately 20 victims were killed and 42 in total were transported to area hospitals.

“It’s appears he was organized and well-prepared,” Mina said.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee tweeted about the attack early Sunday.
