A Michigan woman thought she was alone when she was showering in a gym locker, until she discovered someone watching her.
She told the male stranger he was in the wrong area and she watched him leave the locker room at the LA Fitness gym in Troy, the Oakland Press reported.
Moments later, however, she spotted the man staring at her from under the shower stall.
That’s when the man, identified later as Luis Augusto Ramirez, 49, lunged at her and she ran from the locker room and called for help, according to WXYZ.
Police arrested Ramirez on June 1 for the late-May attack and charged him with indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person, surveilling a nude person and assault and battery.
He is currently being held on $500,000 bond.
