After Donald Trump supporters were brutalized in the streets of San Jose the city’s mayor placed the blame where he thought it belonged.

Not on the mob of violent thugs who punched and kicked Trump supporters while burning American flags and waving the flag of Mexico.

No. The Hillary Clinton supporting, Democrat Mayor Sam Liccardo blamed Trump for it.

“At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” he said.

Essentially he blamed Trump for having the nerve to travel to cities and campaign against Hillary Clinton.

Liccardo also praised his city’s police who were reportedly held back for 90 minutes before they made arrests.

“Our police officers have done an extremely courageous and professional job so far,” he told the Associated Press. “We’re all still holding our breath to see the outcome of this dangerous and explosive situation.”
