Anna Duggar is standing by her man.
After a tumultuous year, former reality TV stars Josh and Anna Duggar released a statement on Friday saying they are undergoing marriage counseling and working on repairing their strained relationship.
“We have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing,” the couple said in the statement.
Over the past year, husband Josh has admitted to molesting his younger sisters, was found to have had an account on Ashley Madison, the now-defunct online dating service for married people, and confessed that he cheated on Anna and is addicted to porn.
Oh, and amid all the chaos, the former stars of “19 Kids and Counting” welcomed their fourth child — there are rumors that Anna is currently pregnant with their fifth child.
The couple said in the statement they are taking things “one day at a time” and acknowledged being on a difficult journey.
“It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult,” they said. “It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship.”
No surprise, the Duggars are leaning on their faith as they seek a way forward.
“We are very thankful for God’s forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives,” the couple concluded.
