Talk about a tarnished star.
Ever since Donald Trump first launched his upstart White House bid, anti-Trump hooligans began doing disgusting things to his Hollywood Walk of Fame star — Trump’s role in “The Apprentice” earned him the 2,327th star on the famed walkway in 2007.
And now that Trump is the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, the attacks have only gotten worse.
Politico reported Saturday that Trump’s star has been sullied with swastika graffiti, spit and urine in the lead-up to California’s June 7 primary. Previous efforts to defile the star include smearing it with animal feces.

And if all that weren’t bad enough, critics launched a petition calling on the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Hollywood Historic Trust to remove Trump’s star.
The petition currently has more than 40,000 signatures, but much like disgruntled Republicans, anti-Trump folks will have to learn to accept the fact that the star isn’t going anywhere — the Chamber told CNN it has never removed a star from the walk.
“The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark,” said Chamber president Leron Gubler. “Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”
