The Islamic State wants to “celebrate” the Muslim holy month of Ramadan by launching more attacks on the Western world.

A recording released online, purported to be from ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, called for the increased attacks, according to CNN.

The recording, which is around 30 minutes and in Arabic, conceded that the terror group had suffered losses in its battle against the U.S. led coalition forces but vowed a long term victory, CNN reported.

The message came just two days after EgyptAir Flight 804 crashed on its way to Paris but no mention of the crash was made.
