Actor Johnny Depp thinks a Donald Trump presidency would be historic.

But don’t take that as an endorsement.

“Here’s the thing — if Donald Trump is elected President of the United States, in a kind of historical way it’s exciting because we will see the actual last President of the United States,” he said according to The Hollywood Reporter. “It just won’t work after that.”

Depp was doing press for his new film “Alice Through the Looking Glass” where he will revise his role as the Mad Hatter.

And if you happen to be someone who doesn’t take political advice from a grown man who makes his living dressing as the Mad Hatter, a pirate, and a man with scissors for hands, who will you take your cues from?

To add to his acting portfolio, Depp starred in an fake Trump biopic on the website Funny Or Die in February.

The film was supposed to be based on Trump’s best selling book “The Art of the Deal.”
