An anti-Trump protester at the California Republican Convention boldly declared Friday that “we” want Donald Trump out of “our land.”

Scheduled to speak at the event yesterday, the Republican front-runner had to take extreme measures in avoiding the protesters to gain access to the facility.

“We don’t need a white man telling us that he’s gonna build a wall in our land,” the protester said. “This is our land and we want him out!”

The reference to “our land” was previously explained by Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project, who once noted that there is a commonly held belief by radical left-wing Hispanics that large sections of the southwestern United States were stolen from Mexico in the 1800s — this is known as the Reconquista movement.

“The goal of the Reconquista is to ‘reconquer’ these ‘lost’ or ‘stolen’ territories for ‘La Raza’—the race indigenous to Mexico,” Gilchrist wrote.

Others just call them Democrats.
