Controversy sells albums.

Likely pleased with all the attention her controversial Super Bowl halftime performance garnered, pop star Beyoncé doubled down on the Black Lives Matter theme in her new album.

“Lemonade,” a visual album, aired on HBO on Saturday and served as “a bold tribute to the perseverance of African-American women and the Black Lives Matter movement,” as described by the Daily Mail.

The mothers of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown are featured in the film, along with Eric Garner’s mother — each is holding a portrait of their son.

DeRay Mckesson, a leading activist linked to the Black Lives Matter anti-cop movement, was more than pleased:

African-American women appearing with Beyoncé include star tennis player Serena Williams, actresses Amandla Stenberg and Zendaya. The recording artist’s sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey make cameos in the film, as does Beast of the Southern Wild actress Quvenzhane Wallis and America’s Next Top Model’s Winnie Harlow.

To be sure the political message is not missed, Beyoncé includes a clip of Malcolm X saying: “The most disrespected person in America is the black woman.”

Here are a few still shots from the film the Daily Mail shared:
