Hillary Clinton knows what it’s like to be in a violent gang.
During a campaign appearance, Clinton said “Joining a gang is like having a family. It’s feeling like you’re part of something bigger than yourself.”

The remarks were largely ignored by the mainstream media, though Sheriff Clarke weighed in, but Twitter users quickly picked up on Clinton’s remark and took to social media to call her out.
