Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, a globalist and a strong proponent of immigration, took a jab at Donald Trump’s stance in a speech on Tuesday at San Francisco’s Fort Mason center during Facebook’s F8 developer conference.

Zuckerberg, who started a super PAC in 2013 to focus on education, the economy and, of course, immigration reform, spoke of “fearful voices for building walls” during his opening remarks, obviously referring to the one candidate who has made a wall and illegal immigration a focal point from the beginning of his campaign.

Zuckerberg said, “It takes courage to choose hope over fear.”

“As a Jew, my parents taught me that we must stand up against attacks on all communities. Even if an attack isn’t against you today, in time attacks on freedom for anyone will hurt everyone. If you’re a Muslim in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you.”

One can’t help but wonder if Zuckerberg has spent any time looking into Muslim attitudes toward Jews and particularly Israel, and if he supports the same immigration policies for Israel as he does for the United States.

In trying to make his case that immigration is essential to our economic well-being, Zuckerberg said, “Instead of building walls, we can help build bridges. Instead of dividing people, we can connect people.”

According to recode.net, “The Facebook founder’s political advocacy group, Fwd.us, has been aggressively campaigning against Trump’s call for mass deportation, producing online videos that explore the economic and human toll of removing an estimated 11 million people living in the U.S. without proper documentation.”
