First impressions are everything.
And for this “Real Housewives of New York” (RHONY), her run-in with Donald Trump couldn’t have gone any worse.
Bethenny Frankel of ‘Real Housewives’ success and founder of the Skinny Girl brand, spoke to Meredith Vieira about her embarrassing exchange with Trump at 7:45 am after having a “sleepover” with a friend.
“I walk into the lobby and I walk straight into Donald Trump,” Frankel told Vieira on her day-time talk show, “The Meredith Vieira Show.”
Frankel, said she wasn’t sure if Trump knew who she was or not since she had appeared and won Martha Stewart’s season of Celebrity Apprentice.
But, Trump remembered her, even turning to tell his US Secret Service agents “She’s the one you really want to pay attention to,” referring to Frankel.
“He gave me a hug, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I probably have the worst Skinny Girl alcohol breath,’ ” said Frankel. “It was the walk of shame! I might have done the walk of shame with the future president.”
