Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has a problem alluring young people, but she apparently doesn’t realize it.

Following the Wisconsin primary, where Clinton was beat by Democratic Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, Clinton told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski that young people “really like me.”

“In all the research that I have seen about who is supporting Sen. Sanders, a lot of the young people like both of us,” Clinton told MSNBC. “They really like me, they admire what I’ve done, what I stand for, and they really, really like him.”

“So I’m not as worried as the numbers might show about how he has attracted so many young people, because I think that it is important to bring them into the process, and I give him a lot of credit for doing that,” Clinton said.

Clinton’s remarks come at the 4:50 mark:

The numbers tell a different story.

Among Wisconsin voters between 18-29 years old, Clinton lost the vote to Sanders by a whopping 89-19 percent margin, according to exit polls by CNN.

And it wasn’t just in Wisconsin that Clinton lost the youth by a drastic margin: In previous state primaries such as Iowa, Sanders won the youth vote by an 84-14 percent margin, according to the Washington Post.
