In between dancing the tango with hot Argentinian women and enjoying baseball games with dictators, President Barack Obama found time to address questions from the media about the terror attacks in Brussels this week.
At a joint press conference with Argentinian President Mauricio Macri, Obama appeared to continue pushing his theory that the “JV team” is “contained.”
“Groups like [ISIS] can’t destroy us; they can’t defeat us; they don’t produce anything,” Obama said. “They’re not an existential threat to us.”
An Associated Press reporter asked Obama at an earlier press conference whether the Brussels attacks will change his attitude and strategy for fighting ISIS, given that the “attacks keep happening.”
“I’ve got a lot of things on my plate,” he said. “But my top priority is to defeat ISIL … to eliminate the scourge of this barbaric terrorism that’s been taking place around the world.”
So convincing.
