Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson won’t be confused for “Soul Train” dancers anytime soon.
During the Palm Beach County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, the Republican presidential front-runner was called to the stage with Carson and singer Beau Davidson, who serenaded the candidate.
Davidson belted out a revised rendition of “Stand By Me” while Trump and Carson awkwardly and visibly uncomfortably swayed to and fro and clapped their hands.
“Donald, Donald stand by us, and we’ll stand by you,” the crooner sang. “It don’t matter where we go. It don’t matter what Hillary does, as long as we’re with you. Stand by me.”
Watch the full three-minute awkwardness below.
