‘Conservative’ group attacking Trump allowed Rubio to push amnesty, expand cheap foreign labor

GOP-front runner Donald Trump has a common enemy with the conservative movement Club for Growth, a “conservative” organization that espouses to promote economic freedom, while shilling for open borders, amnesty for illegal immigrants and expanded guest worker programs.

Ahead of the Florida primary, Club for Growth is spending $2 million on ads across the state along with ad campaigns in Illinois and Missouri.

Club for Growth President David McIntosh told The Hill that Trump is “not really a conservative.”

But it seems that neither is the Club for Growth.

Back in 2013 when Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., was pushing comprehensive immigration reform, a plan which would have granted amnesty to over 11 million illegal immigrants, the organization decided to sit out on the immigration battle.

Not only did the Club for Growth take a neutral position on the detrimental immigration reform pushed by Rubio, their presidential candidate of choice, they also strongly support trade deals like North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

Trump has been critical of a slew of trade deals like NAFTA and TPP, saying that they have costed thousands of US workers jobs that are outsourced to competing companies under the guise of “free trade.”

For instance, on the 20th anniversary of NAFTA in 2014, the trade deal had reportedly cost nearly one million US workers their jobs by outsourcing them to Mexico and Canada.

In addition, research conducted by professors at Tufts University showed that TPP (often referred to as ‘Obamatrade’) is estimated to kill 448,000 jobs currently held by US workers.
