Never has an action better captured the pitfalls of socialism than what was seen with a yard sign for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, the self-avowed democratic socialist.
The Blaze’s Oliver Darcy noted a meme that’s been circulating on social media of a Sanders yard sign ripped in half with a message attached to the missing half.
“I took half of your sign because you had one and I didn’t. I’m sure you understand,” the message read.
The meme appropriately announced that socialism is “a great idea … until it shows up in your front yard.”
An instant classic.
