Thousands of mourners gathered in Washington D.C. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception for the funeral of the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
Rev. Paul Scalia, the son of the Supreme Court justice, eulogized his father and spoke of his dad’s love for God.
“God blessed Dad with a deep Catholic faith. He loved the clarity and coherence of the church’s teachings. He trusted the power of her sacraments as the means of salvation,” he said.
Social media was awash with videos and pictures of the funeral.
